Our Process

  1. The search begins with an extensive evaluation of the client’s need. The Bryant Group works closely with the client to reach a thorough understanding of the company's culture, organization, and specifications in addition to the requisites of the position to be filled. Job specifications include title, department definition, reporting structure and details of compensation. It is imperative that the job description reflects a clear understanding and agreement between the client and search consultant before proceeding.
  2. Once the Job Description is finalized, the intensive research phase of the search is initiated. We engage in extensive industry research and networking, new and existing sources are contacted and leads are vigorously pursued.
  3. Based on our research, we contact prospective candidates and begin screening interested and promising candidates. Personal interviews ensue in conjunction with thorough reference checking. Our entire recruiting process is designed to preserve the client’s valuable time.
  4. We will report our progress regularly and present a strong candidate pool to the client by e-mail/phone/fax. Client agrees to provide critical feedback to The Bryant Group by the same methods within 24 hours of receipt of resume. In a "candidate market," it is important that the time between first contact of a qualified candidate and formal engagement be minimal.
  5. After the client agrees to the potential "fit" of a candidate, the client should agree to begin the interview process within three (3) business days. We assist with arranging the interviews with the best prospects. We also prepare the client to meet the candidates. Highly skilled and truly motivated recruited candidates in the current marketplace may have multiple opportunities from which to choose, so we recommend conducting an interview as soon as possible.
  6. The Bryant Group acts as the liaison between candidate and client to provide feedback and to address any unanswered questions. As the representative of the client, our assistance in negotiating and responding to concerns and questions from both sides saves you and your staff both time and effort. Integral parts of what you pay us for are our skills in this delicate area.
  7. After the successful candidate has agreed to accept the offer, and when candidate and client have agreed to acceptable terms, the dynamic aspect of the effort is still not complete. Follow-up is continued with the candidate and client until the candidate's first week of employment to ensure a smooth transition.
